Cloevis

Cloevis is a new, low cost and effective way of preventing sewer corrosion and odour caused by hydrogen sulfide. The US EPA estimates that "severe hydrogen sulfide corrosion may reduce the 50 to 100-year life expectancy of infrastructure to less than ten years" and the Water Industry Network estimates the total cost of corrosion for sewer systems in the US to be US$14 billion per year.

Cloevis uses a combination of a highly effective patent-pending chemical mix and a software modelling tool to deliver significantly lower operating costs than existing treatment methods.

Cloevis is a spin-out from the Advanced Water Management Centre at The University of Queensland and comes from over 10 years of research sponsored by some of the largest water utilities in Australia. Cloevis is being managed by UniQuest Pty Ltd, one of Australia's leading university commercialisation companies.
